  1. Dear Family,
I want you to know that I am very thankful for your support and understanding since I was a child. I appreciate it very much. I remember how you were all involved when I was sick and when I couldn’t even move, I do felt myself loved and treasured. I remember how you met me every day when I came back from the school. Your presence and support at each school event I was involved in.
I thank you for organizing my holidays so exciting and happy, for the time reserved for sledging and for swimming in the river. I thank you a lot for the present at my 10 years celebration- my brother, indeed he is the biggest present in my life up till now.
I appreciate you for understanding in teaching me what is good and what is bad, in teaching me to take care not only of myself, but also of my brother. The patience with which I have been treated during adolescence. Your respect for my own choices and terrible mistakes. Your wisdom in giving me the possibility to choose my way in life. I realize even more how much we have to be thankful for now, and throughout our lives.

I wish you all the happiest Thanksgiving possible!

  3. Thanksgiving day letter

Thank you God for all the care you give to me, thank you for all those happy moments that I had and I thank you for those happy moments that I will have in future. On this day of Thanksgiving I want to thank my mother and father who with the will of God gave birth to me. I am the person that is really thankful to these close people. Thank you my sister, you were always close to me and you will be in future. In this day we need to give, not only to receive. I give you all my respect and care that I have, I will help you in future, I will be close to you in hard and good moments. We need to appreciate all those small things that made us stronger, all that help that made us go further in life, not to give up to fight. Life is like a maze, you cannot go by yourself all the time. On your way you would find people that help you, thank them sincerely, and help them if you can. This is the best gift for a person. Money can bring power, but not always happiness. All the friends and those people near me who respect me for who I am, know that I respect you too. If you need my help, just ask for it. I will try to help.

P.s I invite you all to celebrate thanksgiving together at a big table with delicious food.

  4. Dear world

I wanted to thank you all for everything that you have done for me in this life. You helped me very much in learning and understanting the life as well as the Motherlanguage, and you taught me more about the work place and business in general. You welcomed me into your home and you put up with the cultural and language barrier in Romanian (that is the numerous respond not to answer whith "What?") as well as in other language, for example in English (that is the pronunciation of the word "mom"). In appreciation of all this, I have included some gifts: a flower for you, and many others things. This is all for you now.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    With love
    Cristina.

First of all, I thank God for my existence, for His will allowed me to write this letter. I thank Him for my happy life, life full of people who help me when I am in need, for helping me pass over the hard times.
I thank my mother for she has born me, for she supports me in following my dreams, for her kindness of everyday, for her patience, striving to let me have a shelter, a decent meal and clothes. Her love keeps me alive, motivated and full of hope. Her warmth makes me feel safe, protected and beloved. I thank her for I can call my shelter "home". I appreciate her cup of warm milk with honey she brings to me when I study. Her food is right from heaven, her words are delicate and sweet, her will is unbreakable. I thank you, Mom!
I thank my uncle for he listens to my stories every time I call him and he bears that. For he has given me pieces of advice every time I needed it. For he tries to look interested in what I say, every time I say.
I thank my cousins, for their childhood adventures in which they included me, too, for their hilarious jokes that made me laugh to tears. Thanks to them I had a happy childhood.
I thank my friend, Veronica, for supporting me from the fifth grade until now. I thank my university group for understanding me. I thank teachers for patience and for they believe in me.
I thank my grandmother for she has learned me how to be modest, honest and hard-working.

  7. Dear Mother,
I want to thank's me for everything you done especially your love. That principles you gave me , made me a best person in this life. Those teachings and education helped to me become a good person in this life , indeed when I was sick. Your unconditional hugs, presence to my school event , and to learn things are the special memories that I will always treasure.

Dear mother , I would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude to you for teaching me what is good and what is not. You made me understand how to grow up with others and feel for them even when they may not belong to my family. You were the first to let me know how to share and care for others, and I continue to share my blessings with the people around me.

I would further say that you have given me the sweetest memories that make me feel homesick, and I understand that I was indeed loved and treasured. I have often misunderstood your intentions when I was younger. But I am aware now that you did everything for my good. I hope that this letter finds you in the best of your health and I once again thank you for giving me those precious memories of my life, which I shall cherish forever. I want to say you that I love and I appreciate all what you made for me.

  8. Giving thanks

All our life is full of diferent events, problems, happy days or typical ones. But we never can stop and to forget about the daily routine and just to say "Thank you" to those people who make us happy. Personally I can recognize that I never said these simple but also magical words to my parents to whom I owe the fact that I live... I'm ashamed...And the worse thing is that most people are like me. We always wait for a special ocassion or a holiday to say some sweet words to those who a special in our life, but nothing can stop us to do this with no reason, just for to see a smile on their faces.
So, to seize the moment, I want to say thank you, my dear parents. I owe you for all that I am now. You are the closest people in my life and those who I know will never leave me...Thank You!!!

  10. There has always been a person to whom I have never written letters. This is you, mom! Being absolutely confident that you are aware of my feelings and thought, I never considered approaching you through a letter.
Probably, not now not even after thousands of years I won't be able to say a proper "Thank You".I can't put all my feelings in just one word. Still I hope that the aims and promises I am going to fulfill, will be the harvest of youl love and support.
Mommy, you have always told me that I'm the center of your Universe. I should learn LOVE from you and treat my future children in this way too. Although you have fulfilled your duties as a mother, it doesn't mean you don't have the ones of a human being. Never cease to seek for happiness as a woman, as a human being. Don't be humble in your wishes. God is not so stingy to give you only one present!
P.S.As about your daughter, whom you tried so hard to rise, be sure that she is definitely not following anyone;s else path, except her own...
